Travel guru, founder of Blueflower

A former management consultant, entrepreneur, anthropologist,
private chef, photojournalist, endurance athlete, explorer and travel guru.
Andrea Oschetti in a nutshell? “Catch me if you can.”

We did – we caught him, but we could, given the fact that he is also the publisher of this magazine – just a few before he took off for Nepal in search of the snow leopards. We asked him why he decided to take another step in his unstoppable search for challenges, launching Blueflower and venturing into personal, bespoke travel planning.

“I have been travelling for 20 years all over the world. I have met chefs, guides, artists, journalists and kept in touch with all of them”. Andrea’s experience and knowledge of cultures and destinations have been poured into ten years of private dinners at his Aberdeen loft in Hong Kong. He delivers not only the finest Italian dishes but also learned about different food cultures in the kitchens in every city he landed in. “Having a private kitchen means sharing your personal experiences with your clients, and regulars often ask for my help in planning their trips. Blueflower is a natural evolution of my whole life experience.”

The travel guru’s tips for the perfect trip? “Be inspired, open your mind, explore unexpected angles of any destination, even the most renowned ones. Travelling is a potentially endless experience if we approach it from different points of view. Blueflower’s people are called dream makers because we listen to your dreams, to your point of view, and develop the perfect travel plan to make them come true.”
