Each of the 10 luxury tents overlooks the forest while remaining private. Visitors can simply roll-up the drapes to feel one with nature. You can even sleep outside of the tent, since the terrace is equipped with mosquito netting and the staff dutifully provide quilts and hot water bottles to keep the chill at bay.

The common areas are beautifully designed and bring the notion of luxury in the wild to a happy conclusion. Likewise, the bathrooms are permanent installations which is a welcome sight in such a remote location. Pench offers a much wider wildlife experience than other parks, and the nearby village of Jamtara is a true and sincere image of the best of rural India.
